Coastwatch summer activities

Apart from ongoing work and planning the main international Coastwatch Autumn Shore survey, Coastwatch has three summer projects – and would love you to join one or more …

1. International: Calling on Coastwatchers to try the Citclops app, report on the sea colour and transparency where ever you are. Look at www.citclops.eu  map to see water colour and transparency meaurements around the world and the biggest cluster around Ireland – that’s us Coastwatchers!

2. All Ireland: Help create a trial coastal water transparency, colour and temperature map for the island of Ireland. Click here for more info.

3. Irish SE coast: Low tide walkers, snorkelers and divers – find and report on Honeycomb (Sabellaria) reef between Hook head and Annestown. It may be the largest in Europe.
