The Coastwatch Survey is taking place from the 15th of September to the 15th of October. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Coastwatch Autumn Survey! It was first designed and tried in Ireland in 1987 by the International Co-ordinator, in cooperation with the Irish Times (national newspaper), With EC aid the survey method was then disseminated to other Eropean Countires.
We are hoping this year will be a bumper year! So please, join the Coastwatch Survey!
Who can participate?
Anyone with an interest in nature and the coast! People from all walks of life take part in the Coastwatch Survey.

Where?
All Ireland, SW of England and Scotland (that is gearing up to run a pilot Survey this year. It’s also taking place in other European countries like Spain and Portugal but in different dates. See http://coastwatch.org/europe/international/ for more info.
