Note & Request for the Irish coast North and South: The Irish Coast N and S is now fully digitised and coded. The mapping is much more detailed than in the pilot test last year, so please don’t use last year’s map. This is to be the final for Ireland and from now on we will be able to better compare survey units from year-to-year. So to help us please alert us to any problem. Other European countries now testing this new GIS method will be digitised and go online.
The survey materials to download or get from Coastwatch HQ in Trinity College Dublin are:
*Please note that extra ‘Citclops Project’ materials for use in deep water access sites will be loaded in a few days.
